Go Green, Why Not?

So, our second day in Batu wasn't started as smooth as we planned. We were late from the schedule so we were going in hurry. We only rent 1 motorcycle on that day, so just imagine it 1 motorcycle for 3 persons. Unfortunately when we passed the main road, there were a parade so we gotta turn back and find another way before we were trapped. I also forgot my cell phone so we gotta back to the hostel to take it. Such a waste of time. But still got time to capture some moments, it was rare experience anyway. Voila! Haha.

ECO GREEN PARK

Shortly, after struggling so hard, finally we arrived to our destination barely midday. Bummer.
It was so hot, but not many visitors were coming because it was Monday. Yeah, we glad owning our private park. After having lunch we started the zoo adventure. Since we only had several hours left, the ticketing staff suggest us to visit Eco Green Park first because it would be closed before Jatim Park 2. So we went there and frankly speaking that was my second time visiting EGP. EGP was still as amazing as the first time I came.

The difference: my first time visit were suck because the venue was totally crowded (It was on year end holiday) and this second time was feel like the whole area was belong to me. Eco Green Park itself is thematic park that brought a go green spirit to the visitor. Besides it provides complete collections of birds, some cattle (sheeps, goat, chicken) and insects, also series of plants and greenery, it has edu-ecology facilities (how to transform water flow into electricity, how to make natural fertilizer, etc) as well.

Every single thing here brings knowledge to the visitor, in the other word you'll be smarter after visiting this park. The concept of the park is another attraction, they package it as a fun study activity. The admission ticket is so affordable, especially for the whole experience you get into. With only IDR 40k, it is totally worth paying. You'll find penguin and giant Arapaima Gigas. You also can interact and take cute pictures together with cockatoo, parrot, owl, even eagles, and we did it! Although it looked scary at first, but the birds were so friendly and gentle. So cute! I really want to brought them home.

We didn't even realize how many hours we spent there because it didn't bore us at all. Actually at the end of the tour, visitors could enjoy some games, birds show, 3D-theater, or 3D trick eyes gallery. We skipped them all because we gotta catch the next destination to explore, which was another huge park.

My kind of story telling it sounds like promoting, but yes it is. This place is one of the good places to go.
