Gosh! Get to hibernate like several days to finish my travelling story in Batu, Malang. Ulalaa. This episode, I'll bring you to the imitation of Universal Studio Singapore in Indonesia, haha! For you who have no idea what I'm talking about, don't be confused pals! I'll give you a picture clue:
Get it? Well this is the hype that people are fussing about nowadays, a new (not a brand one new actually) hangout place to go with friends or families. So friendly to be visited by any age range and not pricey at all. And believe it or not, this isn't a theme park like people will probably consider as, but this is a museum. Wow! Taraaaa let me introduce you to the coolest museum in town, Museum Angkut+ and Movie Star Studio.
When I was entering the main gate, my first reaction was shocked. In the first area, visitors directly got into a big display room that were decorated in interesting way. This zone displayed many different series of oldies and antique cars and other vehicles complete with the information about the year of making, the factory, and lil bit of the popular history. The museum collected and kept the vintage cars, motorcycles, bicycles, horse-drawn carriages from various sources. The most attractive one were the limousine that used to be rode by first president, Bung Karno. There were also a mini legendary helicopter of Mr. President.
The picture above was me, Dilla and the historical limousine.
Well, sorry if you'll find my face in every photo ;)
Moved to the second zone upstairs, it displayed traditional vehicles such as pedicab from several region in Indonesia, ox cart, palanquin, etc. It had miniature replica of Pinisi Boat and Titanic as well. There were also education zone where visitors could learn the knowledge base about transportation vehicles from the past century.
Did I look like really in Machu Pichu?
On the balcony, we found a replica of Apollo which was actually a tower to sightseeing. Our eyes were feasted by the landscape scenery around.
Took a walk outside the building, we entered the colorful area where was soo photogenic. It represented the nuance of an street with several shops and government office on the right and left side of the road. Indeed, the traditional vehicles were displayed at the edge of the road to strengthen the old market view.
Yes, I took many experimental photo which in some point I felt that my outfit matched with the background. Perhaps, it was because of the contrast colors I wore.
Moved forward a bit, we arrived to the Batavia and Sunda Kelapa zone which represented a port. I was mesmerized by the panorama painting all around the wall. That zone was basically inspired by old Jakarta as the capital city of Indonesia that formerly called Sunda Kelapa and Batavia.
to be continued to to the second part.....
